Large Sculpture Of A Young Farmer, Attributed To Goldsheider

A large and beautiful 19th-century polychrome terracotta sculpture depicting a young peasant carrying baskets or a basket.
The exceptional craftsmanship is evident in the finesse and abundance of detail, which bring this work to life and lend it a cheerful spirit. The polychrome paintwork is intact and highly varied.
The piece is in excellent overall condition with no signs of wear. The work is entirely in the style and spirit of Goldscheider from the second half of the 19th century.
An exceptional piece due to its size—67 cm tall—and the quality of its craftsmanship, which will make a striking decorative statement.
