Large Console Table Carved With A Gouge
A large solid wood console table, entirely hand-carved. Its top features a beautiful raised texture, enlivened by numerous irregular notches that highlight the wood’s natural grain and give it a raw, unfinished look.
The apron echoes this sculptural work with a relief design, embellished on the front with a central motif depicting a radiant face, reminiscent of the sun. It rests on four straight, slightly slanted legs, joined by a low crossbar that ensures the stability of the entire piece. In the center of the crossbar is a piece symbolizing the moon. The warm hue of the wood and the artisanal craftsmanship of the surface give this console table a sculptural and distinctive presence. An original piece that will fit just as well in a rustic interior as in a contemporary setting, adding texture and character.
