Rare Baccarat crystal decanter for port, fortified wine, or whiskey. This is the rare S95 decanter model listed in the 1907 Baccarat catalog. It bears an original Baccarat label.
Beautiful Art Nouveau-era floral design of daffodils, painted in raised gold with matching gold fillets. Dates from the late 19th century or the 1900s.
While the model is original and rare in its shape, it is even more so in its size: the decanter is a large 75 cl model, not a small liqueur decanter as one might expect.
A beautiful collector’s piece, very rare and in excellent condition. The gilding is beautiful, well-preserved, and shows no wear.
