View of the sunset over Venice toward Fusina, 19th century, oil on canvas. Excellent quality and condition. Depicts the last rays of the sun over Venice. The composition is reminiscent of a work by Turner held at the Tate, but the pigments and the treatment of light are entirely different. Further study would be desirable. Presented in its original antique frame with a gilded, hand-crafted composition.
