Antique Louis XVI-style Display Bookcase From Emilia, 18th Century
A significant two-door display bookcase of Bolognese origin, made of cherry wood, dating from the late 18th century.
A two-section piece with a slender, tapered top section, typical of the Louis XVI style.
The base features tall, pyramid-shaped legs, lending it a well-proportioned lightness, while the doors of the upper section still boast a perfectly preserved lozenge-patterned brass grille with “rosette” studs.
A complete piece that is rare to find.
Dimensions (cm): W 141, D 45, H 243.
