Pair Of Lamps Depicting Bodhisattvas

An elegant pair of French lamps from the late 18th century, featuring figures depicting Chinese Bodhisattvas, reflecting the refined Orientalist taste prevalent in European decorative arts of the period. The sculptures, characterized by slender lines and harmonious poses, feature exquisite polychrome details in shades of green and ochre, with richly draped robes and bases decorated with lotus motifs.

The quality of the craftsmanship and the evocative patina of age enhance the authentic charm of these decorative pieces, transformed into lamps with striking visual impact. A sophisticated piece with a strong personality, ideal for classic or eclectic-chic interiors, or for collections of Asian and European antiques.
