Set Of 4 Original Thonet Chairs – Bentwood And Vienna Straw

An elegant set of four original Thonet chairs, believed to date from the early decades of the 20th century, characterized by the typical sinuous lines of the famous Viennese manufacturer.

The chairs feature a steam-bent wooden frame, with a harmoniously shaped and decorative backrest, and a circular seat made of woven Vienna straw.

Of particular interest are the original Thonet Wien labels, preserved beneath the seats, which attest to their provenance.

The four chairs are in excellent overall condition, with minor signs of wear and imperfections due to the passage of time and use. One seat has a small defect, clearly visible in the photographs.

Dimensions:

• Seat height: 48 cm

• Total backrest height: 90 cm

• Seat diameter: 42 cm

The complete set of 4 chairs is for sale.
