Spanish Rustic Trestle Table With Drawer And X-stretchers, Spain, 19th Century

A characterful Spanish rustic trestle table dating from the 19th century, distinguished by its honest craftsmanship, practical design, and beautifully aged surface. Constructed from solid wood, the table features a substantial plank top measuring approximately 3 cm thick, displaying the irregular edges, wear, and patina accumulated through generations of use.

The table is fitted with a single drawer beneath the top, providing functional storage while enhancing its traditional country character. The splayed trestle legs are joined by elegant X-shaped stretchers, creating a sturdy architectural silhouette. A gently curved low stretcher adds further structural support and contributes to the table's distinctive rustic appearance.
