18th-century Louis XV-style Parisian Chest Of Drawers Made Of Walnut
A Louis XV-era chest of drawers made of solid walnut, dating from the 18th century
restored in our workshop and in perfect condition (by a cabinetmaker certified by the École Boulle)
It was made in Paris, in the Faubourg Saint-Antoine, a neighborhood renowned for its many cabinetmaking workshops in the 18th century
. It features a beautiful curved front adorned with elegant moldings,
three rows of drawers—two large and two small—with a secret drawer in the middle
; they are adorned with original bronze handles
and a top with rounded lines.(stain-resistant treatment)
The walnut has a lovely, warm patina that highlights the charm and authenticity of this antique piece, characteristic of Parisian furniture from that era.
