Geometric Abstract Gouache On Paper, Signed By Franciska Clausen, 1926
Artist: Franciska Clausen
A beautiful geometric abstract composition created in gouache on paper, signed F. Clausen and dated 1926 in the lower right corner.
The work features an interplay of circular and square shapes that harmoniously overlap, in a color palette combining green, red, ochre, and purple. The composition stands out for its balance between geometric shapes, transparency, and color contrasts—characteristic of early 20th-century modernist aesthetics.
This work is signed by Franciska Clausen (1899–1986), a Danish artist known for her explorations of abstract art and constructivism.
