Condition and Restoration
This engraving is over 250 years old and has been preserved in good overall condition, considering its age.
The engraving no longer has its original white margins. Our professional restorer carefully cleaned it to remove traces of age and accumulated dirt.
The print had sustained a few small tears in the upper-right corner. These have been carefully repaired (please see photographs).
Once the engraving is mounted behind a mat and framed, these restorations will become almost imperceptible.
We invite you to examine the photographs carefully, as they form an integral part of the description and provide an accurate representation of the engraving’s condition.
