Antique French Minerva Silver Rococo Revival Two-Bottle Cruet Stand
Description
An ornate French silver cruet stand in the Rococo Revival style. Its two openwork bottle holders are decorated with scrolling foliage, pierced panels and blank oval cartouches. They sit on a shaped base with four scroll feet, beneath a richly modelled central column and decorative carrying handle. Two smaller rings on the column were designed to hold the bottle stoppers.
The stand bears a French Minerva silver mark and weighs approximately 480 g. Offered as the silver frame only, without bottles or stoppers.
