Artist: Melchior Wagenbauer

An interesting, lively landscape—very Germanic in style—featuring fir trees, houses that appear to be made of wood, a body of water, figures, a cloudy sky, etc.
Beautiful, meticulous composition; very confident brushwork. Initials in the lower right, attributed to Melchior Wagenbauer.
Late 18th or early 19th century.
Germany.
