Terracotta

An infinitely charming and endearing child Bacchus by René Andréi, dating from the 1920s. Andréi exhibited a plaster bust of Bacchus at the 1923 Salon, then, in 1926, a stone version, probably in taille directed. The version I am presenting is a terracotta edition by Susse Frères.
