Biography:

Lesya Ortynska is a contemporary figurative artist born in Ukraine in 1976.

Trained in Kyiv at the Taras Shevchenko School and later at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture of Ukraine, she specialized in monumental painting under the guidance of M. A. Storozhenko.

Her triptych The Creation of the World has been featured in several international exhibitions, including NordArt in Germany.

Now based in France after living in Germany and India, she has developed a semi-realistic figurative style characterized by vibrant colors and striking contrasts.

Her work explores the human microcosm, philosophy, and nature as a source of harmony. Her works are now part of private collections around the world.

The painting is on view at our gallery in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue (France) on weekends.
