Majorelle Desk And Armchair Set - "pine Cone" (c. 1905)
An exceptional matching set in solid light oak from the workshops of Louis Majorelle (Nancy School), circa 1905. A rare, geometric design with clean lines. Superb bas-relief carving (stylized motifs of pinecones and pine needles) on the desk’s crossbars and consoles. The armchair features a high back and geometric armrests. The seat and backrest have been completely reupholstered with a light-colored textured fabric.
