Mid Century Square Rattan Mirror, France, 1960s

This charming mid-century French mirror features a square form presented on the diagonal, creating a distinctive diamond-shaped wall display. Crafted from slender rattan canes meticulously arranged in geometric patterns, the frame embodies the relaxed elegance and natural materials that became popular in French interiors during the 1960s.

The warm honey-toned rattan adds texture and organic character, making this mirror a versatile decorative accent suited to a variety of interiors, from coastal and bohemian settings to mid-century modern and eclectic spaces. Its compact proportions make it ideal for use in an entryway, bedroom, bathroom, or as part of a curated gallery wall.

The mirror remains in good vintage condition with a beautifully aged patina to the rattan. The original mirror glass shows some age-related wear and light desilvering along the edges, consistent with its age and contributing to its authentic vintage appeal.

Good vintage condition with normal signs of age and use. Minor wear to the rattan frame and age-related foxing/desilvering to the mirror plate.
