Half set with 8- or 9-karat gold alloy settings (333°/°° or 375°/°°) , consisting of dangling earrings with a swan-neck clasp and safety catch, and a matching brooch with a pigtail clasp—typical for the period—featuring bouquets of flowers in hardstone inlay, (pietra dura) on a black stone background; remarkable stone inlay work, likely Italian and dating from the late 19th century, around 1880; sold in the case shown in the photos, gross weight of 7.42 g; dimensions of the earrings and the brooch: width 1.4 cm and length 3.7 cm; in good condition, with a patina of age.
