Beautiful Restoration-period mahogany desk, 19th century, featuring an elegant front with five drawers.

It rests on four turned and fluted legs. The rectangular top, framed by a beautiful mahogany border, is covered with antique leather featuring fine gold-stamped decoration, which has retained a lovely patina from use.

The desk has two leather-covered side extensions that significantly expand the work surface. When both extensions are extended, the desk measures 2.22 m in width.

The drawers are adorned with bronze hardware. A beautiful piece with harmonious proportions, featuring fine-quality mahogany and the authentic charm of a 19th-century piece of furniture.
