Pair Of Late 19th / Early 20th-century Uranite Glass Cylindrical Boxes
A pair of small cylindrical trinket boxes or powder jars crafted in yellow-green uranite (uranium) glass. Featuring smooth glass walls with heavy bases, fitted with gilded metal / brass hinged rim mounts. Exhibits intense green fluorescence under ultraviolet (UV) light, characteristic of uranium glass.
