Children's Mannequin, Napoleon III Period, Articulated Hands And Arms, 19th-century Display Bust
Antique articulated child's mannequin dating from the Napoleon III era.
Measuring 96 cm in height, it features a body covered in dark canvas, complemented at the upper chest by a fabric insert in orange-red tones.
The neck is topped with a turned, blackened wooden knob.
The arms are fully articulated, with movable shoulders, elbows, and wrists.
The hands are carved from wood with articulated fingers; one of the hands is missing.
The legs and feet are also made of wood.
The feet, designed to resemble buttoned heeled ankle boots, still retain their painted decoration and small metal details.
