Walnut Living Room Sideboard – Early 20th Century
This elegant walnut living room sideboard distantly embodies the refinement of early 20th-century reception furniture. Its structure is centered around two generously sized oval-shaped tops, enhanced by the warm, amber-hued, veined tones of the walnut. The uniqueness and high functionality of this piece of cabinetry lie in its four small circular trays, which pivot on wooden axes to expand the display space when serving. The entire piece rests lightly on four delicate, curved legs inspired by the Louis XV style. Finally, the attention to detail is evident in the two ornate carrying handles, which elegantly combine gilded brass and turned wood to perfect the silhouette of this charming side table.
