A composition corresponding to this work is listed in the Artnet database under the title Femme pensive and under the name of the Belgian artist Floris Jespers (1889–1965), also described as an oil on canvas measuring 150 x 130 cm.

However, the research and opinions obtained to date have not allowed the attribution to Floris Jespers to be formally confirmed. For this reason, the painting is deliberately offered without attribution to Floris Jespers.
