Pair of Paris porcelain lamps with regulators – Napoleon III period

An elegant pair of antique oil lamps (with a mechanical regulator) made of Paris porcelain with patinated bronze mounts, dating from the Napoleon III period, circa 1860
The baluster-shaped body, crafted from white porcelain, features a beautiful springtime design, finely hand-painted. Each lamp is adorned with medallions formed by garlands of roses and polychrome wildflowers, enhanced with fine gold fillets and foliage scrollwork.
The upper trim, crafted from chiseled bronze or brass, is particularly remarkable. It retains its original elements: an openwork combustion gallery with neo-Gothic arch motifs, its wick adjustment wheel, and its ornate, leaf-adorned mechanical winding key.

These lamps were previously converted for electric use and are ready to be fitted with a lampshade. The porcelain is in excellent condition, with no cracks or chips. Very slight signs of normal wear on the gold filigree.
