A Bronze Ewer.
A bronze ewer, chiseled, gilded, and finished with a medal-like patina. Its handle, topped by a putto, features a leaf-motif scroll; the body is adorned with a frieze of putti, and the base is also decorated with a leaf motif. Highly decorative, it dates from the Napoleon III period, circa 1860–1880.
