A very elegant Delftware lamp on a baluster-shaped base with a long, elongated neck.
The earthenware, set against a white background, is gadrooned, and the base is octagonal.
It features a delicate decoration of floral and bird motifs, hand-painted in an intense cobalt blue ; a vibrant and luminous color obtained from a synthetic mineral pigment (cobalt aluminate).
