Artist: Charles Perron (1893-1958)
A charming oil on panel signed lower left by Charles Perron (1893–1958). Trained at the École des Beaux-Arts in Nantes (1909–1913), then at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris (1913–14 and 1919–21), he won the Grand Prix de Rome in 1921, followed by the Eugène Thirion Prize in 1926. From 1936 to 1945, he served as curator at the Nantes Museum of Fine Arts.
