It retains all of its original ironwork: a thumb latch and latch, bolts, and a cremone bar stamped “Rémy Garnier” (a mark of high quality; one of the most famous artistic metalwork houses of the 19th century, still in operation today, and supplier to the Palace of Versailles and the grand Parisian palaces, among others).
One side is stripped, the other side is painted
