Woman with a japonese Parasol in a Sunny Garden in Front of Lake Bourget.Dated 1932 and set in Bourdeau, Savoie, on the shores of Lake Bourget.
M. M. Darbour was born in Florence and lived at Villa Carolina on Chemin de Vallauris in Cannes (Alpes-Maritimes).
She was a painter of portraits, flowers, still lifes, landscapes, and lively scenes featuring people.She exhibited studies and portraits of women (a woman with a shawl, in a kimono, at the piano, with a guitar, with geraniums, with anemones, etc.) at the Salon des Indépendants in 1905 and 1906.
