Glazed ceramic jardinière featuring a Japonisme-style design—carp, plum blossoms, and lotus flowers—set against a stunning, deep cobalt blue background.
The interior is finished in turquoise blue.

Bears a simple "H" mark on the underside; attributable to Joseph Holdcroft (similar jardinières bearing his signature are known to exist).
Joseph Holdcroft’s Victorian majolica pieces were produced at Daisy Bank in Longton, England, between 1870 and 1885. While some pieces bear the "JHOLDCROFT" mark, many others can only be attributed to the artist based on their distinctive patterns and rich colors, which are known to be characteristic of Holdcroft pottery.
Features a drainage hole in the base (currently plugged with a cork).
In perfect condition; comes with its original matching saucer.
