A quadrangular, faceted vase with a flared neck, made of mouth-blown glass tinted throughout in the famous “Nile” green, with an opalized base.
At the top, a frieze of Rocaille foliage in gold relief, stenciled, and in the center, hot-enameled flowers, hand-painted in polychrome enamels—here mauves and pink hibiscus with foliage accented in fine gold. This is exactly the style produced by the François-Théodore Legras crystal workshop (1839–1916) in Saint-Denis, which left its mark on Art Nouveau.
