Mid-19th-century Chinese porcelain vase with a bronze mount, featuring multicolored enamel decoration depicting figures in traditional attire, furniture, flowers, and insects. The vase has been cut at the neck and drilled at the base for electrical wiring. It bears an original label, dating to the late 19th century, at the base reading “Escalier de cristal,” a Parisian high-end home decor store.
