Antique 19th-century Kerosene Lamp
Antique 19th-century kerosene lamp, converted to electricity. The turquoise-glazed ceramic baluster body is embellished with black floral motifs and gold fillets. The frame, base, and burner are made of finely chiseled gilded bronze. It is topped by a frosted glass globe, engraved with floral garlands, laurel wreaths, ribbons, and antique-style vases. The piece as a whole displays an elegant neoclassical style.
