Artist: Paul Leduc
Paul Leduc, born in La Louvière on August 28, 1876, was the son of Hubert Leduc, a painter, and Marie Pourbaix.
He began his career painting landscapes, portraits, and genre scenes. He worked in Belgium and the Netherlands, but primarily in the south of France, Italy, and Algeria, where he depicted rivers, canals, and bridges. In May 1912, he was one of the Belgian painters selected to exhibit at the Costa Salon in Buenos Aires[2].
