Powder Compact With Built-in Lipstick, Made Of 800-th Silver
Antique pocket-sized silver makeup case with a built-in mirror and a side compartment for lipstick.
The case is made of solid silver, marked "800" (thousandths) on the compartment designed to hold the lipstick; on the reverse side of this same compartment, it is hallmarked "M9."
An authentic early 20th-century collector’s item, with its original small mirror; a few pinholes.
The hinge is in perfect condition.
The case is decorated with 4 tiny ruby-colored stones; in the center are 3 tiny brilliant-cut stones—one is missing, and the fourth slot is empty.
A few very minor dents and scratches on the outer bottom of the box
