A very beautiful and rare marquetry pedestal table, likely Syrian. Superb marquetry work. Precious woods and bone. Brass inlays on the tabletop. Very beautiful openwork cabinetry around the edge. (Two small openwork sections are missing.) Quite heavy and very stable! Dimensions: 76 cm high, with a tabletop measuring 65 x 57 cm, and a base 49 cm wide. A visually stunning piece of furniture! Very decorative and functional!
