Large Gilded Bronze Empire-style Lamp, Height 80 Cm

Large gilded bronze lamp in the shape of a Corinthian column in the Empire style, early 20th century
Its base is adorned on three sides with Medusa heads surrounded by a laurel wreath and ribbons
The fluted shaft is topped by a capital decorated with acanthus leaves
New wiring: gilded brass socket for an E27 screw-in bulb, new wiring.
The power cord runs through the interior of the base.
Its pagoda-shaped lampshade was crafted from a Pierre Frey fabric called “La Danse,” featuring a woman dancing on one side and a bouquet of flowers on the other; the sides are made of a solid-colored fabric.
