Coffee table in the style of Gilbert Poillerat, made of lacquered, oxidized, and gilded metal. It rests on four tapered, openwork legs topped with decorative globes. The base is connected by a twisted semicircular crossbar. The tabletop features a marquetry inlay of stones in various shades of cream. These robust yet graceful motifs are reminiscent of certain neo-Baroque-inspired creations by Gilbert Poillerat (1902–1988) from the 1930s and 1940s.
