Box with lid decorated with scenes of maritime trade (Kauffahrteiszenen), a design likely by Christian Friedrich Herold, and a gold-and-purple scale pattern embellished with floral motifs. The lid handle is shaped like a rosebud. The lid shows signs of earlier restoration. Marked with crossed blue swords, circa 1750–1760.
