Magnificent large lamp base crafted from a 19th-century Napoleon III-era cassolette vase made of solid green marble—Vert de Mer and Vert des Alpes—with a rich setting of chiseled and gilded bronze.
Very fine quality of chiseling with richly detailed decoration
Handles decorated with swans.
Garlands of oak leaves and acorns.
Godron-decorated pedestal rests on a square, chamfered base adorned with oves.
A beautifully crafted piece; very heavy and stable. Original electrical wiring with a hole drilled beneath the base
Height without the socket: 47 cm

In very good overall condition for its age. Original bronze patina and marble intact. Electrical system functional but should be checked according to your installation standards.
