Antonio Bofill-Conill , known as Antoine Bofill (1875–1925)

Antoine Bofill was a famous spanish sculptor , born in Barcelona in 1875 .

He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Barcelona before becoming involved in the Parisian art scene .
He was active in the late 19th century and the first half of the 20th century .
From 1901 through 1910 , he exhibited regularly at the prestigious Salons of the Society Of French Artists .
In 1902 , Antoine Bofill exhibited at the Salon of Paris , where he received the "Honorable Mention" .

Subsequently , he exhibited small-scale figures and group sculptures in Spain and France , which he had cast in bronze in France , Germany , and Austria .
Notable works include : "The Rest" (1896), "Arab Child with a Monkey" (1902), "A Prayer" (1905), "Caresses" (1906) ...
