On a stained beech column in the Louis XVI style, an imposing patinated bronze statue titled “Hesitation” by Géo Maxim and also signed “Constant” on the side, with its original tulip base and fully functional electrical wiring.
The right wing has been restored but is barely visible; circa 1880.
A few old woodworm holes at the base of the column.
