The scene depicts an elegant Japanese woman in a kimono from the Edo period (19th century) in a traditional interior.
Note the small illustrated cartouche in the upper right corner.
A beautiful composition with rich colors and numerous details in the kimono and architecture, printed on Japanese paper.
