Exceptional unique blown glass vase, made in Murano and signed at the base “Schiavon Murano 1/1” in diamond-point engraving.

This remarkable piece is the result of a complex and highly refined sequence of traditional glassmaking techniques. The inner structure is made of blown black glass, covered with a rich composition of polychrome glass-paste murrine, which have been patiently worked and carved using diamond grinding wheels.

The decoration features a sophisticated horizontal and vertical carving technique, particularly difficult to execute, creating a striking three-dimensional effect and remarkable depth across the surface. The contrast between the deep black glass ground and the brightly coloured murrine enhances both the visual impact and the exceptional craftsmanship of the piece.
