A Meissen porcelain group depicting a shepherd couple (Schäfergruppe). The shepherdess is holding a basket of grapes, and the shepherd is offering leaves to his sheep. This model was designed by Michel Victor Acier in 1769. It bears the mark of the crossed blue swords and the number C41. It is in very good condition; only a small chip is missing from the sheep. Listed in the Meissen catalog.
