Founded in Paris in 1975, Poiray quickly distinguished itself through a freer and more contemporary approach to jewelry and watchmaking, creating exquisite pieces designed to accompany women in their daily lives. In 1987, the brand launched its first timepiece, Ma Première, which has become one of its iconic models and is particularly famous for its interchangeable straps.

Ma Seconde embodies this signature spirit of the Maison, featuring a small round gold case with particularly feminine proportions. Its bezel is accented by an elegant godron pattern that catches the light and adds depth and character to the overall design.

The white mother-of-pearl dial, with its delicately shifting iridescence, features a deliberately minimalist design: four teardrop-shaped applied hour markers mark the hours, paired with two central hands. This understated design particularly highlights the natural nuances of the mother-of-pearl and lends the watch a discreet elegance.

One of the most appealing features of this watch is its interchangeable strap system, which makes it very easy to transform its appearance to match any outfit or mood. This playful and modular design is an integral part of the watchmaking identity developed by Poiray. The Maison uses systems that allow straps to be changed quickly without the need for a watchmaker.

The watch comes with five straps, offering a lovely selection of colors and materials: a fuchsia-pink leather strap, an ecru patent leather strap, a black patent leather strap, and a sky-blue grained leather strap—all four original Poiray straps, equipped with their original buckles and “Presto” pins for quick replacement. A fifth ecru patent leather strap, not signed by Poiray, completes the set.

The contrast between the iridescent whiteness of the mother-of-pearl dial, the shine of the white gold, and the different colors of the straps makes it very easy to transform the watch’s look, from the most classic to the most vibrant.

It comes with its original Poiray case, as well as a suede-like pouch for storing the various straps.
