Empire-style Chest Of Drawers Made Of Mahogany, Circa 1810
Beautiful Empire-period chiffonier made of mahogany veneer.
It opens to reveal two drawers, the first of which forms a leather-covered shelf.
The back posts are sheathed, and the front posts are columns with gilt-bronze trim.
Concave base, arched crossbars.
Veneered on all sides, with an oak core.
Top made of small Belgian granite (minor scratches from use, one hairline crack).
Buffed with varnish in our workshop.
Circa 1810.
