Biography: 
Jean Antoine Esparbès, known as Jean d’Esparbès, born in 1898 and died in 1968 in Verneuil-sur-Seine, was a genre painter and the son of the writer and curator of the paintings at the Château de Fontainebleau.
He exhibited regularly in Paris at the Salon d’Automne, of which he became a member.
He took pleasure in depicting popular or legendary scenes.
He painted extensively on the world of entertainment and on the theme of solitude
