This chest of drawers, which opens at the front with three wide drawers, is topped with a superb veined gray marble top bordered by a gilded, openwork brass molding. Its rounded side panels feature fluted grooves embellished with asparagus-shaped motifs and scrapers. Beautiful and rich gilded and chiseled bronze ornamentation, including rings, feet, drawer pulls, lock plates, the gallery, drawer frames, and panels. Very fine wood, beautiful patina.
