Description:

Chiseled bronze, with original ground gold.

These ornaments are among the finest examples of chisel work and delicate detail.

A lyre with swans (7 x 6 cm), a large palmette (13 x 9 cm), 6right-angled rosettes (4.3 x 3.3 cm), two rosettes (12 x 10cm), a frieze of leaves and berries (3 x 22 cm), and arocaille panel (17 x 6.5 cm).

We have acquired a large collection of antique bronze elements of finework, from furniture, light fixtures, etc...

Since our workshop specializes in gold leaf gilding, all these trim pieceswill therefore be in perfect condition—either with their original gilding intact orregilded now at no prohibitive additional cost.

Conditions:

Very good conditions; all retain their original gilded metalwork except for the small knot (rosette), which has been regilded with 24K gold leaf.
